Marcie L. Schwartz, MPT, COMT
Founder
Marcie founded Pure Symmetry, LLC in 2020 with the aim of determining the root of the dysfunction and providing the patient with the tools to self-manage.
Marcie began volunteering as a freshman in high school in Westlake, Ohio. Marcie knew from a very young age she wanted to work in health care, originally a pediatrician. After spending every Saturday/Sunday morning of her high school years volunteering in the physical therapy department, she fell in love with the profession. The ability to make positive difference in someone’s life provided such gratification.
Marcie credits her education, desire for continual learning, mentors in the field, and clinical experience the background knowledge in conjunction with her manual skills to effectively evaluate, diagnose, and treat the physical dysfunction to restore alignment, encourage movement and return the patient a active pain-free lifestyle.
During her free time, Marcie enjoys reading, pilates, a great Peloton® class, and together with her husband, watching their daughter play soccer with Our Lady of Good Counsel HS varsity team and Bethesda Soccer Club, as well as their son play football with the Rockville Football Bears.

She was also a competitive swimmer from age 6 through college, which led her to be interested in how the body worked. She did an internship in high school at a physical therapy clinic and knew that was what she wanted to pursue. Leslie enjoys treating a variety of conditions, especially neck, and back dysfunction, and feels passionate about providing a more holistic and comprehensive treatment plan to her patients.
